About the Author Raegan Butcher was born on January 15, 1969 in Seattle, Washington and moved to Snohomish, Washington at a young age. He published his first written work in 1991, a chapbook titled End of the World Graffiti. In 1996, he was arrested for and convicted of 1st degree armed robbery and spent 7 years in prison, during which he composed the poems that would appear in his first book of poetry, Stone Hotel, published under the CrimethInc Ex-Worker's Collective in 2003. Two years later, Butcher produced a second book of poetry titled Rusty String Quartet with CrimethInc (information about both books can be found on the "Published Works" pages on the navigation menu to the left).
